Colours of Le Creuset

Great cooking boils down to ingredients - the better the ingredients you choose the better the results.

At Le Creuset, they are no different. Like you, Le Creuset won’t compromise when it comes to cooking, only their ingredients happen to be iron, steel, clay and silicone.

Le Creuset will help you make the most of your ingredients just as they’ve made the most of theirs. Which is why Junors believes that good food deserves Le Creuset.

Le Creuset reputation and guarantee

Le Creuset is consistently chosen by leading chefs, restauranteurs, and those who just enjoy cooking; all of whom appreciate its performance, cooking advantages and style.

As the world's leading manufacturer of enamelled cast iron cookware, the Le Creuset reputation is unsurpassed. Le Creuset maintains this position by exceptional quality, superior materials and innovative product design.

This same rigorous discipline in upholding standards is maintained across all of the Le Creuset product categories.

Fantastic colours to choose from

Colour is synonymous with Le Creuset cookware and the original graded Flame orange is recognised the world over as Le Creuset! The colour is blended into the enamel and is fired at a high temperature to fuse it to the cast iron. The finish converts the raw iron into a piece of cookware that is not only gorgeous to look at but hard-wearing efficient too.

Le Creuset offers cookware in a wide range of colours. Bright vibrant colours, pastels and neutrals, from the most classical to the most contemporary, enabling you to match your cookware to your home décor and tableware.

Textiles from South America

Design - Ancient Handcraft Techniques - Distinctive Materials

Junors imports textile products such as table cloths, table runners and placemats from South America. The design of the products is based on a combination of ancient techniques with contemporary fashion trends. The products are handcrafted by experienced artisans and use fine materials such as Pima cotton. The focus is on a well-balanced and harmonic union of these three aspects in order to create beautiful products that promote social development. These designs have allowed the artisans to have a better lifestyle for themselves and their families. Our partner in South America is targeting to build important handcraft centres in faraway areas of South America that help maintain and preserve the identity of each community.

Nespresso Excellence

At Nespresso, creating the perfect coffee is at the heart of what they do. Delighting coffee lovers is why they do it.

The Nespresso Story...

25 years ago Nespresso introduced a simple but revolutionary idea - to create the perfect cup of Espresso coffee with exquisite crema, tantalising aroma and full-bodied taste - just like skilled baristas.

As the worldwide pioneer, Nespresso redefined the way coffee lovers around the world enjoy their Espresso coffee through a unique combination of premium quality Grand Cru coffees, smart coffee machines and exceptional customer services.

The company’s story, however, is not just about one remarkable idea. Above all, it is the continuous quest for innovation and pursuit of excellence that drives Nespresso.

Nespresso Citiz

Nespresso has always been about great and innovative coffee machines, and its latest product line, the single-cup serving Citiz, is a perfect creative example of that company’s mission. The Nespresso Citiz was presented at the Maison & Objet expo in Paris in 2010, and the release has had coffee lovers in a bit of a frenzy.

Nespresso likes to take the design of each new line of coffee machines in a wildly different direction. The trio of Nespresso Citiz products was inspired by the architecture and look of the New York City skyline, with a dramatic silhouette that blurs the line between kitchen appliance and functional art. As complex as the style might be, the use of the actual gadgets could not be any simpler. Created with the city dweller in mind, the Nespresso Citiz uses automatic controls for things like water temperature and de-scale to create one of the easiest and finest cups of espresso you have ever tasted. Most urban kitchens do not have much counter space to spare, and it was great to see Nespresso shrink down part of this product line to just 6 inches in width, nearly half as slim as some of the company’s other more popular models.

The diversity in the three Nespresso Citiz products means that there is a coffee maker that can comfortably fit into most people’s needs and budget. The basic model (simply, the Citiz) maintains the slim finish, top-flight brew and compatibility with all 16 cup varieties that Nespresso offers. The Nespresso Citiz & Milk is ideal for American coffee lovers and Starbucks fiends who crave Frappuccinos and other frothed drinks. Finally, the Nespresso Citiz & Co is the maker-of-choice for couples or when hosting a party, as it can produce two cups of flawless coffee at the same time. Unfortunately, the Citiz & Co will not be made available in North America.

Nespresso offers all the product configurations in four different colors, allowing you to make a personal statement with your Citiz. For energy saving concerns, the Nespresso Citiz line feature an automatic standby mode, allowing even those who take their coffee black to be a little more green. If coffee-type beverages are an integral part of your life, the Nespresso Citiz could be a very welcome addition to your apartment or home.

Emile Henry

The Company

The Company was founded in 1850 and its head office and production site is located in Marcigny in Burgundy, France. There are 200 craftsmen, carrying on the traditional savoir-faire, in 4 fabrication units and 1 warehouse. Emile Henry is the only French producer of ceramics to have been certified ISO 900. And is exporting to more than 50 countries.

The Process

Clay, a natural and noble material, has been used since the mists of the time to cook or preserve food. While respecting the traditional techniques, Emile Henry has introduced technological improvements (Ceradon®) so that the dishes are more resistant to mechanical and thermal shocks.

The clay is mixed with different finely ground stones and water, according to Emile Henry's secret formula. This improves the quality and results in a rather liquid clay called slip.

The slip is poured into plaster moulds. Each mould corresponds to a shape : oval dish, square dish, oval terrine, pitcher… Part of the water in the slip is absorbed by the plaster so that the clay sets, giving the shape of the dish. Once turned out of the mould, the dish is dried at 50°C for 6 hours.

Glazing consists of spraying a coloured glaze on the dish. The glaze is made of ground glass and colouring, mixed in some water. Emile Henry is one of the rare potters around the world to manufacture so many colours : Pivoine red, Cobalt blue, Pastis yellow, Fraîcheur green, Azur blue ...

The glazed dish is fired in the kiln for 4 hours at a very high temperature (1150°C). The glaze thus melts to become very strong glass, and is completely smooth.

Oven to Table

The Ceradon® products from Emile Henry allow you to bring your cooked dish out of the freezer and put it directly into a preheated oven at 250°C or microwave.

Flame

Emile Henry developed the 1st ceramic casserole which goes on the flame. 5 years of development and tests were necessary to develop this range baptised “Flame® “.

Epicurean

Why Epicurean?

Epicurean® brand products are synonymous with proficient and improved food preparation. From dishwasher safe cutting boards to an array of innovative utensils, Epicurean® has revolutionized wood kitchenware products. Made of many layers of FSC certified paper pressed together with a food safe resin, all Epicurean® products will last for years of daily kitchen use. All products are made in the USA and designed with a focus on function but also with a concern for the environmental stewardship. From the heavy duty Big Block boards to the agile Kitchen Series utensils, Epicurean® sets a higher standard for every well equipped kitchen.

From Skate Parks to Cutting Boards

What do skateboarders and foodies have in common? They're both cutting it up on the same durable material. In 2003 Epicurean® was founded by custom skate park manufacturer TrueRide as a way to repurpose excess skating surface material used by the company. The founders of TrueRide knew of the history of the surface material in commercials kitchens, so creating a line of home food prep surfaces from scrap was as natural as, well, skating on it. TrueRide skate parks last for years outdoors with extensive abuse from both weather and skaters, so you can be sure your Epicurean® Cutting Surface can handle even the hardest working kitchen.

Eco Initiatives

Epicurean® understands the relationship between the products we manufacture and the environment we all live in. By purchasing Epicurean® products you are making a consumer statement and showing your commitment to green products and green business practices. Epicurean® is dedicated to creating long lasting products that are manufactured with sustainable manufacturing practices and made from environmentally friendly conscientious materials like recycled paper, plastic and FSC certified papers.

Epicurean®'s manufacturing facility is founded on principles of efficient and responsible use and reuse of manufacturing materials, and has received multiple awards for its ethical business practices and architectural design.

Every year Epicurean® employees participate in a Tree Planting Day to help offset the manufacturing process.

Lékué designs clever products so you can enjoy your home

Lékué is a highly successful company and a leader company for Platinum Silicone products for kitchen. Functionality, quality, innovation and avant-garde design constitute the basis of Lékué’s philosophy and these values have allowed them to experience rapid growth in the last few years. Currently, Lékué continues to develop new product ranges, striving to surprise customers while helping them enjoy their homes.

The company’s story begins in 1980 with the creation of rubber ice trays, followed by a wealth of other silicone-based kitchen products. But it was in 2005 that the company saw a major turning point with the incorporation of new capital and a new management team, headed by Xavier Costa and four designers, the latter supervised by Luki Huber, who has collaborated with Ferrán Adriá. Lékué went from manufacturing products for other brands to becoming a pioneering, leading brand in its own right in this sector.

Over the years, the design management company Nomon Design, which collaborates regularly with Lékué, has played a key role in the graphic identity of the latter, designing everything from the firm’s corporate image and packaging to visual merchandising in its many retail outlets.

Since 2005, Lékué has produced over 197 innovative products, which have revolutionised kitchen equipment the world over. These ideas both meet new social needs and constantly promote a philosophy of cooking as easy, practical and fun.

Today Lékué is a highly successful company. It employs 90 people, exports its products to over 40 countries, mainly to the EU, Russia and Japan, and has an annual turnover of 15 million Euros. In Japan, in the last year alone, Lékué sold half a million products.

In 2011 so far, Lékué has launched over 19 new products for its baking and cooking lines. These are designed so that both the youngest members of a household and adults can share the excitement of creating their own recipes in a more original way for special occasions. These products include moulds used to create Easter eggs or bunnies to suit anyone’s personal taste and moulds to create number-shaped lollipops and 3D lollipops.

Lékué takes a serious interest in healthy eating with its innovative products which introduce kitchens all over the world to new techniques of cooking by steam. An example of this is our Steam Roaster – this steamer allows you to roast food, too: you can use this to cook different ingredients at the same time and to enjoy food that’s steamed yet has a roasted texture. This is a truly revolutionary product, as is our special case for steaming (which recalls the French technique of papillote – steaming inside a paper package) and Fresh Bag (suitable for both cooking and storing food in the fridge or freezer to keep it fresh).

Lékué is also innovative in terms of creating utensils which surprise guests at very special occasions. This applies particularly to our new ice tray called Ice Cube, which allows users to create totally square ice cubes which give a chic twist to cocktails anyone can rustle up at home.

Trudeau

Since 1889, four successive generations have managed Trudeau Corporation. Trudeau is known throughout the world for its high quality products. In the mid 1990s, after over a century in the luxury imports business, Trudeau decided to start manufacturing its own kitchen products and innovate in the research, development, and design of new products.

A team of Canadian, American and European designers create the Trudeau products. The Trudeau creative department works with partners in industrial design and experienced manufacturers to ensure that they are always at the forefront of product development.

They have recently launched the Casa Blanca line created by internationally renowned designer Koen de Winter. The line has a classic design, with two tones and two finishes. It is easy to maintain with the interior portion being enameled for cooking and to prevent food from sticking. The non-enameled external portion is polished and coated to reduce risk of cracks & nicks. The shape is ergonomic with a solid base that raises the product for enhanced stability and air circulation. It is also stackable for smaller spaces. The line is designed to facilitate daily use as it is easy to use with oven mitts and has a sturdy handle with a good grip. The broad edges accommodate excess liquid, food, cheese or foam during cooking and serving.
